Jamie started as a Wild One and joined the Oregon Wild team in April 2016 as our new Membership Manager. Born and raised in the west, she has been fortunate to spend many of her life’s most formative moments on public lands and has dedicated her career to advocating for their protection.
After graduating from Humboldt State University in northern California, Jamie spent several years working as a Park Ranger for the Bureau of Land Management and the National Park Service, primarily based out of Glacier National Park in northwestern Montana. After 3 years in Glacier, Jamie was offered a position in Alaska and made a big move to the nonprofit sector in the Copper River Basin, home of Wrangell St.-Elias National & Park and Preserve - the US's largest national park.
Today Jamie can be found in our Portland office working with our amazing members to protect and restore Oregon’s wildlands, wildlife and waters. Outside of work, she can often be found trail running, dreaming up her next packrafting adventure, or petting someone else’s dog.
