Eugene Wild Ones: Media & Communications Breakdown
Join us for our 2018 Oregon Wild Ones workshop and activity series, and help make a difference for the public lands, wildlife, and Oregon you love!
In this workshop, we will discuss best practices for writing and submitting Letters to the Editor and Guest Opinions for local newspapers, as well as effective use of social media like Facebook and Instagram to advocate for the things you care about. The discussion will include what does and doesn't get published, how to reach beyond 'the choir', and basic writing tips. We will finish up with an opportunity to start a letter or outline, and discuss ideas with other Wild Ones and OW staff.
