'Wild Things' Film Screening at the Hollywood Theatre

Oregon Wild has partnered with Natural Resources Defense Council for a screening of NRDC’s documentary Wild Things, a film about the USDA’s Wildlife Services’ war on native carnivores.

Native carnivores bring balance to the landscape and keep ecosystems healthy. Wild Things introduces audiences to progressive ranchers learning to coexist with these animals and features scientists, conservationists, and even former Wildlife Services trappers, who believe it is time for a major change in the way we treat our magnificent native carnivores.

The film will be screened on April 2 at 7:30 p.m. at the Hollywood Theatre followed by a panelist discussion and Q&A. Panelists include Cristina Eisenberg, PhD, author and professor of ecology at Oregon State University who was featured in the film, and Brooks Fahy, Executive Director of Predator Defense. The event is free and open to the public.

Registration is not required but you may RSVP to asegal@nrdc.org if you plan on attending.
