Alijana "Ally" Fisher joined the Oregon Wild team late January 2021 as the Climate and Communications Intern and is now working full time as the Wildlife and Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Associate. She graduated from Willamette University with a degree in environmental science and minors in anthropology and sustainability. She is committed to making the conservation realm a more inclusive, diverse and equitable space and taking proactive steps to promote biodiversity and healthy ecosystems. She is excited to apply her unique perspectives to Oregon Wild and deepen her knowledge on grassroots organizing and policy.

Ally has been living in Oregon since 2000 and is happiest when exploring the beautiful forests and waters of her home. When not working she enjoys kayaking, backpacking, hiking, birdwatching, cooking, creating art, reading and playing her cello.
