Ally Fisher joined the Oregon Wild team late January 2021 as the Climate and Communications Intern and is now working full time as the Wildlife and EDI Associate. She recently graduated from Willamette University with a degree in environmental science and minors in anthropology and sustainability. As a person of color, she is committed to making the conservation realm a more inclusive space filled with diverse perspectives and addressing the climate crisis through an equity lens. She is excited to apply her unique perspectives to Oregon Wild and deepen her knowledge and experience in the process.
Ally has been living in Oregon since 2000 and is happiest when exploring the beautiful forests and waters of her home. When not working she enjoys kayaking, backpacking, hiking, cooking, creating art and playing her cello and ukulele.
