From moist fir and hemlock forests to ridgetop pines and wildflowers, this hike – which descends to Fifteenmile Creek then climbs up to a scenic ridge – has it all. Designated a Wild & Scenic River in 2009 and sitting on the edge of the Badger Creek Wilderness, Oregon Wild has been fighting for protection of this special wild place for many years.
Carpools will be available from the Portland area.
The goal of Oregon Wild’s outdoor program is to connect our supporters to the places we work to protect and conserve. Our guided hikes and outings are led by staff members with experience in our conservation campaigns, knowledge about the natural world, and a passion for Oregon’s wild places and wildlife. Our programs offer an educational experience and a connection to advocacy for the places we visit. We strive to make our outdoor programs inviting and safe for everyone.
Your hike leader will get you additional information with specifics about a meeting time and location, difficulty level, and any other details about your hike after you register.
