Crooked River Fly-Fishing Trip

Join us on the beautiful Crooked River for some beginner-level fly-fishing.

Location: Crooked River Canyon (carpools depart from Bend)

Come fish the Crooked River and catch a beautiful rainbow trout! This beginner level day-trip will run you through the rod and reel basics, casting instruction and coaching, and entry-level technique to get you out fishing on your own. In addition to experiencing the Crooked River Canyon, you will hear information about the entire Crooked River Watershed and the Ochoco Mountains that feed the beloved Crooked.

Gear provided: 

  • Flies
  • Tippet
  • Extra leaders
  • Floatant

Please rent: 

  • 5 wt rod and reel
  • Waders (unnecessary and optional)

Gear is available at The Patient Angler, Fly and Field Outfitters, or The Confluence Fly Shop. If you are having trouble finding a shop to rent gear, please contact Sarah Cuddy.

Please purchase a day-use fishing license for July 27th.
