Wildlife Lobby Day

Please join Oregon Wild for our Salem Lobby Day on Thursday, February 21st.

This year's lobby day will focus on wildlife issues and ensuring that our state legislators know how much Oregonians care about protecting native fish and wildlife. Topics will range from Fish and Wildlife Commission appointments, to ODFW budget (including wolves), poaching, and more. As we approach February 21st, Danielle Moser, Wildlife Program Coordinator for Oregon Wild, will have more details on the specific bills and policies that you'll be speaking to legislators about.

We're inviting activists from all over Oregon who care about wildlife and their habitats to join us! Grassroots pressure creates political action, and it is only through your help that we can protect Oregon's wildlands, wildlife, and waters.

Never lobbied before? No problem! In order to help everyone prepare for their meetings, Danielle will host a brief training session that morning at Ike Box in Salem. We'll be reviewing the latest legislation, talking points, and best practices for meeting with lawmakers. Please arrive by 8:45, as the training will begin promptly at 9.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email Danielle and ask away!
