Wolf Creek Falls & North Umpqua Waterfalls Hike

Explore some of the North Umpqua River area’s many waterfalls, beginning with Wolf Creek Falls, a bit off the beaten path.

Difficulty: Easy
Distance: 3-4 miles
Elevation Gain: 500 feet
Leader: Chandra LeGue
Location: Roseburg BLM and Umpqua National Forest, east of Roseburg (carpools depart from Eugene)

The North Umpqua River corridor has more waterfalls than can be visited in one day, but we’ll get to a few on this trip! We’ll start with the mile-long hike to Wolf Creek Falls, along the Little River just to the south of the North Umpqua, through a classic old-growth forest. Then we’ll head up the North Umpqua for some short hikes to one or two other waterfalls. Spring flowers should be in bloom, too, offering plenty to see and enjoy!
