Jamie started as a Wild One and joined the Oregon Wild team in 2017. Born and raised in the west, she has been fortunate to spend many of her life’s most formative moments on public
lands and has dedicated her career to advocating for their protection.
She has spent her career wearing many hats, including flat ones (park ranger) and mosquito-net covered ones (bird biologist in Wrangell-St. Elias National Park & Preserve). She has lived and worked in some of North America’s most remote and beautiful places, including Alaska’s Copper River Basin and Glacier National Park in northwestern Montana. She and her partner Tyler are happy to call central Oregon home.
When Jamie isn’t exploring the Ochocos or working elsewhere to protect them, she spends as much time possible trail running, fly fishing, birding, and petting other people’s dogs. She works in our Bend office.
