Join Oregon Wild and other friends of the Ochoco Mountains at this open house to learn more about the proposed Ochoco Mountains National Recreation Area.

Wildlife Lobby Day

We invite you to join us for Oregon Wild's 2016 Wildlife Lobby Day in Salem! You'll have a chance to meet with your own elected officials and talk to them face-to-face about the wildlife issues that matter most to you.

Oregon Wild will provide food and transportation -- and we'll start the day with lobbying training so you feel comfortable and confident when you go to talk with your elected officials.

Pack the ODFW Commission Wolf Meeting!

Oregon's Department of Fish and Wildlife has recommended to its citizen commission that they vote to remove endangered species protections from Oregon's small gray wolf population. This may be the last opportunity for citizens to speak up for maintaining protections.

Anti-wildlife interests are bussing supporters in to this meeting, so we need to make a strong showing. If wolves ever needed your voice, NOW is the time. Please join us!

Celebration of a (Wild) Life in Crescent City -- Wendell Wood

For those who may have missed the celebration in Eugene last month, the family and friends of Wendell Wood invite those who knew or appreciated him to a memorial event in honor of his rich and determined life spent protecting and marveling at the wonders of the natural world. This event is open to all.

Final Citizen Training to Protect Oregon's Wolves

At an upcoming public meeting, the Oregon Fish and Wildlife Commission intends to vote on whether to remove wolves from the state list of endangered species. Your voice is needed to tell the commission to keep wolves protected. This workshop will help you prepare for that meeting so you can speak up for wolves with confidence and clarity.

30,000 Cheers for Crater Lake - A happy hour celebration

On the morning of Tuesday, October 20th, we will be delivering 30,000 signatures to Senator Wyden asking for permanent Wilderness protection for Crater Lake and the surrounding wildlands.

ODFW Commission Meeting on Wolf Delisting

At an Oct 9th meeting in Florence, OR, The Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife Commission will be considering whether to remove grays wolves from the state's Endangered Species Act. This decision is a public process, and it's very important to have the participation and voices of the citizens of Oregon at this meeting! 

Eugene Activist Training for Wolves

 Join Oregon Wild, Cascadia Wildlands, and the Center for Biological Diversity for a workshop on testifying on behalf of Oregon's small and vulnerable wolf population.

While the skills learned at this workshop will be useful in a number of situations, it will be focused on preparing for the October 9th Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife Commission meeting in Florence, Oregon where the ODFW Commission will be considering a plan to remove wolves from Oregon's endangered species list.
