Trump’s executive orders threaten our bedrock environmental protections

We’re prepared to stand up for Oregon’s ancient forest, climate, wildlife, and clean water – and the laws that defend them.

The Endangered Species Act. The National Environmental Policy Act. The Wilderness Act. The Clean Water Act.

These aren’t just bedrock environmental laws – they’re critical tools that Oregon Wild and our partners use to defend and protect Oregon’s ancient forests, pristine waterways, and native wildlife species.

Every year we see a litany of proposals that threaten not just Oregon’s special places and wildlife, but also the critical laws that defend them.

Anti-environmental politicians and their industry allies attempt to weaken the Endangered Species Act annually. Now, the Trump administration poses a dangerous threat to these critical laws. Trump’s record speaks for itself—siding with extractive industries, dismantling conservation laws, and putting polluters over people and wildlife. If he gets his way, the Endangered Species Act and other critical protections won’t just be weakened—they’ll be torn apart.

Giving $20 a month–or an amount that is meaningful to you–lets us spend less time fundraising and more time hellraising.
