Elliott State Forest map

The 93,000-acre Elliott State Forest is located in the Oregon Coast Range east of Coos Bay, and includes approximately 41,000 acres of old-growth forest a century old - shown in green on this map. The mature and old-growth forests of the Elliott provide essential habitat for coho salmon, marbled murrelets, and other wildlife; store carbon to mitigate global warming; and can provide many other public values if left unlogged.
