Call of the Wild: A benefit for Oregon Wild

Friday, October 13th, 2023 | 5:30 pm - 9:30 pm | The Redd in Portland, OR

Join the Oregon Wild Team, our community supporters, and anyone who loves Oregon for a camp-inspired, in-person event that raises a mug to our work and raises crucial funds for our ongoing conservation efforts.

Call of the Wild is an unforgettable evening of celebration as we gather to recognize Oregon Wild’s successes with our number one source of support–you! This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Endangered Species Act, a bedrock piece of legislation that time and time again has proved vital to not only defending our native wildlife, but also the habitats they call home.

Thanks to your steadfast support, we’re fighting for bigger and bolder conservation wins in the coming year, from championing historic protections for over 3,100 miles of Oregon’s rivers, to protecting our mature and old-growth forests, to advocating for increased wildlife protections. We wouldn’t be here without you, and we’re ready to have a camp party to keep Oregon wild!

What to expect at Call of the Wild:

  • Delicious wine, hand-crafted cocktails from local vendors, and beer from our Oregon Brewshed® Alliance Partners
  • Tasty, camp-inspired local food catered by Artemis Foods and 1927 S’mores
  • Live music from JT & The Mudbugs Trio
  • A silent auction featuring Oregon's best trips, outdoor gear, food, drink, and more!
  • The winning photographs from our 17th Outdoor Photo Contest
  • Limited edition Call of the Wild 2023 merchandise

Reserve your ticket

Every dollar raised at Call of the Wild goes directly to supporting our mission to protect and restore Oregon’s wildlands, wildlife, and waters.

You will be taken to a third-party website (SchoolAuction) to purchase your ticket to the event. Your card information will be safely saved for participation in the raffle, silent auction, and paddle raise during the night of the event.

We’ll be updating this page with more event information - stay tuned for upcoming details about the event.
