Tell your new member of Congress to protect Oregon’s public lands and wildlife!
Oregon has two new members of its Congressional delegation–Maxine Dexter, representing the state’s 3rd Congressional District, and Janelle Bynum, representing its 5th. Join us in welcoming our new members to Congress and encouraging them to stand up for bedrock environmental laws and strong public lands, wildlife, and forest protections.
Unfortunately, due to the accelerating impacts of climate change and an incoming administration that is certain to be hostile toward public lands and environmental progress, our natural treasures will be under threat like never before. Congress must act as a check on the Trump administration’s anti-environmental policies and work to advance critical protections for public lands, waters, and wildlife.
Now is the time to use your voice and make sure our elected leaders are representing and standing up for our interests. That means defending ancient forests, public lands and bedrock laws like the Endangered Species Act, National Environmental Policy Act, Wilderness Act, and Clean Water Act, and supporting historic bills like the River Democracy Act and the Recovering America’s Wildlife Act.
