Date: Wednesday, April 30th
Time: 6pm-8pm
Location: Xicha Brewing, 2195 Hyacinth St NE #162, Salem, OR 97301
Are you ready to show off your knowledge of Oregon’s wild places? Want to enjoy a beer that helps protect Oregon’s waterways while you do it? Grab your friends and join us at Xicha Brewing in Salem to celebrate the end of Earth Month. As part of our Brewshed Alliance, Xicha will be serving two special brews. “Wild About Oregon” by Little Beast and Xicha’s own “Tres Carlos”. This Brewshed Alliance Wild & Scenic Earth Day Collaboration Series is a partnership between Coleman Agriculture, Yakima Chief Hops, local breweries, and Oregon Wild. A partnership committed to protecting Oregon’s beer at its source. Without protected watersheds and clean water, neither the wild landscapes nor the hoppy, malty beverages we enjoy could thrive.
When you drink beer crafted by Oregon Brewshed Alliance member breweries, you’re helping raise funds and awareness for public watershed protections through Senator Ron Wyden’s River Democracy Act. This historic bill would designate thousands of miles of new Wild & Scenic Rivers in Oregon, providing immense benefits for fish and wildlife habitat, outdoor recreation, clean water, and other important values.
So, drink beer, play some trivia, and advocate for Oregon’s waterways all in one night. No advance registration needed.
