Our 1% for Wildlife Day of Action is almost here, and we want you to feel energized, prepared, and ready to make your voice heard for Oregon’s wildlife! Join us and our friends from Bird Alliance of Oregon for a Rally Sign-Making Party, a fun and supportive gathering where we’ll get hyped for our big day at the Capitol.
On February 11th, dozens of advocates will make their way to our state Capitol to meet with legislators and then rally to support the 1% for Wildlife bill (you can register here!). If you’re curious about joining us, this is the perfect event to learn more and get excited! On January 27th, we’ll walk you through what to expect in Salem, do some role-playing to help you feel confident talking with legislators, and answer any last-minute questions about the Lobby Day schedule or the 1% for Wildlife campaign. Then we’ll break out the markers, paints, and posters to create bright, bold signs for our rally at the Capitol.
We’ll provide all the supplies; you just bring your creativity, your enthusiasm, and your love for Oregon’s wildlife. See you there!
