Our forests, waters, and democracy are under attack. Most recently, the Trump administration is moving to strip away the Roadless Rule, opening millions of acres of wild forests to destruction, and threatening NEPA, the very law that ensures communities have a voice in projects that affect our health and future. These rollbacks are attempts to silence us and dismantle decades of progress, and hand over our public lands to private companies that will log and mine them for profit.
These are big challenges, but we don’t have to face them alone. That’s why we’re bringing back Wild Ones, a growing activist community where we can learn together, take action, and support one another in defending the places and values we love.
Join us at 6pm on Tuesday, September 23rd for our Wild Ones Orientation event.
At this kickoff, you’ll:
- Meet the organizers leading our campaigns to protect public lands
- Hear about what we’re doing to defend our wildlands, wildlife, and waters, and how you can get involved
- Join a community of like-minded advocates, and work together so we can make a difference
- Take part in a Letter to the Editor writing workshop to sharpen your advocacy skills and start bringing attention to the issues that matter to you
Momentum only matters if we keep it moving. Come find your community and take the next step.
