Join Pro Photo Supply and Oregon Wild for a photowalk at the Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge, just outside of Portland! The restored wetland areas and lush riverside forests here are home to a huge diversity of birds and other wildlife, making it a photographer’s dream.
After gathering for a short discussion about the best equipment for photographing this environment, and to learn about the natural history of the area from Oregon Wild, we’ll set out for a walk along the Tualatin River to a photo blind and through an open meadow and wetland area, taking advantage of the golden hour lighting. The walk will be led by Chandra LeGue, Senior Conservation Advocate for Oregon Wild and author of “Oregon’s Ancient Forests: A hiking guide” with the support of Pro Photo Supply staff.
