Media consumption is changing.

According to the Pew Research Center, 86% of American adults get at least some of their news from a digital device.

40% of Instagram users and 52% of TikTok users get their news from their feed, and the different organizations and creators they follow.

This is a huge shift away from the traditional media we’re used to, but it highlights an opportunity for everyday people to wield a microphone like never before. By learning to work with this tool, you have the ability to reach millions of people who share your values and rally them around causes that matter to you.

Right now, Oregon’s wildlands, wildlife, and waters are facing unprecedented threats from the Trump administration, and it’s more important than ever for us to come together and collectively push back. But the first step of any strong movement is to inform. Are you ready to take a stand, and speak up for the wild places and wildlife who can’t speak for themselves?

Learn how at our Content Creation for Conservation Workshop in Salem, Oregon on October 15th.

At this workshop, you’ll learn how to use free digital tools to create short-form video content, use powerful storytelling to resonate with the masses, and tips for how to train the algorithm to get your content in front of more people.

Light refreshments will be provided!
