Hands Off Our Public Lands: Sign-Making Night

Activist holds a sign that says "Forest Defense is Climate Defense"

Join us in-person for an advocacy night Tuesday, April 15th at 5:30pm!

The Trump administration recently issued an executive order that would open up 59% of America’s National Forests to logging. This is a direct attack on our public lands, clean water, wildlife habitat, and climate—and we can’t stay silent.

That’s why we’re joining the next “Hands Off!” rally organized by 50501 on April 19th, and we need your voice there with us.

Next weekend, millions of people will take to the streets and send a message loud and clear that we will not stand for these attacks on our democracy, our neighbors, our public lands, or our climate.

We’ll kick things off with a short presentation about what’s at stake for our public lands and how policies like Trump’s recent executive orders and the “Fix Our Forests Act” threaten forests across the country. Then we’ll break out our paint and poster board to create powerful rally signs together. It’s also a great chance to connect with fellow advocates, coordinate carpools, and get energized for the big day.

But first—we’re hosting a Sign-Making Party to get ready, and you’re invited!
