Join us on the best waterfall hike near Bend! This 7.2-mile loop hike follows multiple proposed Wild & Scenic Rivers, bringing hikers up close to dozens of spectacular waterfalls flowing through a mixed conifer forest full of lodgepole pine, mountain hemlock, Engelmann spruce, subalpine fir, and white fir. In addition to the remarkable views waiting around each corner, this watershed provides over 100,000 people in the city of Bend with clean drinking water. On this hike, we’ll discuss how the River Democracy Act will protect the many important values of this wild watershed.

The goal of Oregon Wild’s outdoor program is to connect our supporters to the places we work to protect and conserve. Our guided hikes and outings are led by staff members with experience in our conservation campaigns, knowledge about the natural world, and a passion for Oregon’s wild places and wildlife. Our programs offer an educational experience and a connection to advocacy for the places we visit. We strive to make our outdoor programs inviting and safe for everyone.
