Turning Passion into Advocacy: How to craft your story and use your voice to make an impact

Are you someone who enjoys spending time in nature, loves public lands, cares about wildlife, and wants to do more to protect the environment? Are you ready to step up your environmental activism? With the current attacks on our public lands and waters, we need more voices collectively pushing back and speaking up for nature. Sharing personal stories, your passions, and your “why” with elected officials and decision-makers is key to influencing their priorities. Anyone can be an effective advocate, but it takes training and practice.

Join Oregon Wild and Protect Our Winters at this in-person workshop in Bend to learn how to craft your personal story and how to leverage your voice to make the most impact. We will also discuss the most pressing issues facing public lands and wildlife in Oregon, and give you all the tools and resources you need to effectively advocate for the places and critters you love!

Join us for this special event on Monday, November 10, and bring along a friend–activism is more fun and effective in community!
