Jordan’s passion for the outdoors, and for Oregon’s unparalleled wild spaces in particular, might be an outgrowth of spending early childhood in the flat, agrarian midwest. Happiest in a wilderness area, he takes a picture of the wooden signboard every single time he enters one (Strawberry Mountain is a favorite).
Jordan draws on expertise from various corners of the non-profit and philanthropic sectors, having worked with Mercy Corps and the American Red Cross. Jordan is also active in supporting the arts and culture of this region, serving on the board of the Creative Advocacy Coalition of Oregon.
A longtime Forest Park user and superfan, Jordan has served as chair and member of the Forest Park Conservancy’s board of directors.
